10Mila 2017 long night (30-04-2017)

Great experience and pleased with my leg. Sindre did a good job and put me out together with some good teams in the 3rd group. Went out together with Peter Oberg and Milos Nykodym.

The 2nd group ca5mins in front made a huge mistake on the 1st control allowing us to catch up. After this I just tried to position myself 20sec back in the group to miss out on the extra distance with mistakes at the front and not fall behind as some teams dropped off the back.

Bit scary when my light started going off, but it took me a while to realize as I wasn’t really reading the map at all! Unplugged it and waited then plugged it in again and it came on, did this several times…. Will send it back to the manufacturers… again hehe

A fantastic experience in the most legendary night course in orienteering! A must for all enthusiasts!!
