Jukola 2 Osuus (18.06.2018)

Perfect 1st leg from Håvard and a solid leg position wise from me. However with 5mins time loss I am not happy, luckily there were a lot of mistakes from the others and I was only 3mins down on IFK Goteborg and 1:30 down on 2nd place and the next group. After a great night with some amazing Nydalen legs (1st and 2nd team) we ended up 7th and 39th. A fantastic result!!

Start-1: 20 sec ish down on IFK and SNO which I managed to close in after 500m or so. Realised that they were going left for the path and hung on. Had good control when they punched their gaffle and went straight to mine.

2-3: Took a drink at 2 and fell behind immediately. Ran off to catch up and thought they were swinging around for the path. Ran along what I thought was the path but was a track and ended up in the wrong hole. Got out of the hole and didn't see the path as I ran over it, relocated in flat area. +3mins.

Next section: Going really hard and managed to get away from my group.

10- Ungaffeled control but was alone. Really thick and ended up getting dragged slightly left on an elephant track. Didn't go quite far enough and then eventually relocated off the bigger hole. Lights everywhere and total carnage here.

11-Finish. Good running against IFK 2nd team, felt good physically and made up some time, got all correct gaffles.

Surprised and relieved in finish to see that I was only 3mins down, Anders Nordberg managed to clean up on the next leg.
